Ad2 Reno’s plans book for Northern Nevada HOPES (HIV Outpatient Program, Education and Services) took first place in public service club achievement at the 2009 AAF National Conference. Northern Nevada HOPES made it their mission to enhance the quality of life for the more than 7,000 residents living with HIV/AIDS in our community, through ongoing patient-centered clinical intervention and community leadership. Ad2 Reno set out to inform the Educated Unaware Adult that getting tested for HIV is the smart and easy thing to do. Our “Relax, it’s just a swab” campaign, which included targeted radio, magazine and outdoor ads, collateral, events and a new website, helped the target audience understand that getting tested is fast, free, confidential and easy.
