The Washoe County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy for abused and neglected children in the juvenile court system so they can thrive in safe, permanent homes. Ad2 Reno was charged with increasing CASA’s male bilingual, Spanish and English volunteer base and to generate awareness. We appointed a spokesperson that represented our demographic (bilingual male professionals over 35) for all of our radio and TV spots and appearances. In addition to a comprehensive media plan, we built CASA a new website and supplied collateral for targeted events like the Cinco de Mayo Marathon, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce luncheons and Western Industrial Nevada Breakfasts. At the time of our presentation there was a 25% increase for that month’s volunteer training (up from the last year’s volunteer training). Ad2 Reno’s CASA campaign took second place in public service club achievement at the AAF National Conference.
